The Nederland Ice and Racquet Park ice season is over, but we're already preparing for next ice season! Don't forget that TENNIS season is coming as soon as the slush melts!

2007-2008 Ice Season Survey
Thanks for your support and participation at the Nederland Ice and Racquet Park this past skating season! Please take a minute to fill out this online survey (only four questions!) so that we can improve next ice skating season. Your answers will remain anonymous.

NYH PARTY, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., April 5
There will be a Nederland Youth Hockey family hockey party at the CU ice rink on April 5 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thanks to coach Chris Perret for renting the ice for this special annual gathering (feel free to put a few bucks in the helmet). Everyone on the ice will need to have a helmet with a face mask and sign the CU waiver before starting. Arrive early (9am) to get dressed, as CU will let us on early. As in the past, we will "stick and puck around" to warm up the goalies and then organize a game with three lines (small: K-2nd, medium: 3rd-5th and large: 6th-up). There may be two half-ice games (small and large) to get twice as many people on the ice at once.

NYH EQUIPMENT RETURN, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., April 12
On Saturday, April 12th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., our Equipment Manager, Marie Allen, will be at the ice rink office to take back checked-out equipment and return deposit checks. Out of respect to our free equipment check-out program, please return the equipment: ON TIME, clean, and repaired (as much as possible). If you fail to return the gear, you may lose your deposit. Do not drop off gear at the rink when it is closed nor at a volunteer coach's or team manager's house! With your cooperation, we can continue to make FREE hockey equipment available next season for any child who wants to play.

Check out the new webcam here. Thanks to Nedernet, we also have wireless internet access at the park!

We still need to raise money for improvements, so it's NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE! Your donation will insure a great community park for many years to come!

Mail your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE (we are a 501(c)(3) organization) donations TODAY to: RINK, PO BOX 921, Nederland, CO 80466.

What is NedRink?

  • It's located in the beautiful mountain town of Nederland, Colorado

  • In the winter, it's an outdoor, open-air ice rink providing opportunities for Nederland to play hockey, figure skate, and skate recreationally.

  • In the summer, it converts into three public tennis courts.
