Winter Season '05-'06 - Well, it was a bit of scramble, but thanks to some dedicated volunteers and lots of community support, we managed to lay down ice and have a great skating season. We were missing onsite water & power, but that only slowed us down a little bit. Season highlights included nearly 80+ kids and adults playing on a single sunny Saturday  in February, lots of serious Diva hockey and female bonding, and skate-until-you-drop Sunday afternoon hockey game.  We learned a lot about how to construct ice, clear the snow, run the Zamboni, and go backhand on the goalie's stick side.
